After four years and over 200 updates, Valve has made its popular team-based action title totally free.
Team Fortress 2 is now free to play, Valve has announced. The free to play announcement comes as part of the Uber Update - now available - which is the largest content pack delivered to Team Fortress 2 since its release in 2007.
New players will have access to training and offline practice modes, so they can hone their skills before jumping into the ever-expanding TF2 universe.
In its four years, Team Fortress 2 has received over 200 updates.
The game is now free to play for PC and Mac via Steam.
