Dark Void PC will be 'simultaneous'. Bionic Commando PC will be 'nearly simultaneous'.
Capcom has told PC gamers to "stay tuned" on the possibility of a PC version of Resident Evil 5.
Resident Evil 5 has so far only been announced for the Xbox 360 and PS3, leaving PC gamers out in the cold.
When asked about the possibility of a PC version of Resident Evil 5, Svensson said: "That's a fantastic question. Unfortunately it's one that I can't give you an answer to today. But stay tuned."
When asked if that meant there was hope, Svensson replied: "Potentially."
Svensson's comments are sure to give PC gamers hope that they will eventually see a PC version of the hotly anticipated zombie kill-em-up released. Fans will remember that Capcom released a PC version of the excellent Resident Evil 4.
Svensson also answered questions on Capcom's PC plans for its other high-profile 2009 releases, including Dark Void, Bionic Commando, Dead Rising 2 and Lost Planet 2.
He said: "In truth I actually need to check with the team on that (Dead Rising 2 PC). I know it's announced for PC. I don't know if that one is targeted for simultaneous launch."
According to Svensson, Dark Void "will be simultaneous", "Bionic Commando will be nearly simultaneous". "Let's say it (Bionic Commando) was in the first half (of 2009), it's within a couple of weeks. If you're May 31 for your console version, it may not be quite day and date but it will be close enough to benefit from the marketing that's going on around it."
As we revealed last week, Capcom has promised that "clarity will come over the coming months" to the confusion surrounding what platforms the recently announced Lost Planet 2 will be released on. Only an Xbox 360 version has so far been confirmed as in development.
A PC version of the superb fighting game Street Fighter IV is due out, according to Capcom, in the summer.
