Star Wars: The Old Republic Free-to-Play will launch November 15

Experience all of the class storylines through to level 50.

Star Wars: The Old Republic Free-to-Play will launch across all territories on November 15, EA and BioWare have announced.

The new Free-to-Play option allows gamers to experience all of the class storylines through to Level 50, the current level cap, at no charge and introduces the new Cartel Market.

Paying subscribers at the time of the F2P launch will be granted all of the Complimentary Cartel Coins currently listed on the Cartel Coin Ledger page, plus a one-time grant of 250 Complimentary Cartel Coins.

Even previous subscribers can get in on the action. Reactivate before December 20 to earn Complimentary Cartel Coins for prior paid months up to November 15, 2012.

I got the discs to reinstall it saves a 26 gig download at least tho am sure there's some sizeable patching.

I wouldn't mind starting from scratch as I only played a bounty hunter on release. I'll set up a VG guild if there's enough interest when it goes free-to-play :)

Might finally get around to seeing out the last few classes' storylines.

I'd join the VG guild but would be starting from scratch as I was previously based on the US servers.

Since the servers merged there is only 1 English PVE Server, 1 PVP, 1 RP PVP and 1 RP PVE servers.

I'm on the PVE Server Red Eclipse and will be happy to help out :)

The option to spend Cartel Coins so you can replace a light saber (cool) with axes (not so cool) is possibly the most outstanding example, ever, of how to take an iconic IP, turn it into one of the most promising MMOs of our generation, then grind it into dust.
