Ubisoft puts an end to fan wish list.
With the announcement that Ubisoft had delayed the release of Splinter Cell: Conviction until Q1 2010, many of the game's fans took to the Ubisoft forums to let the publisher know what changes they wanted made to the game during its extended development.
It turns out the fan feedback was largely pointless, though, with Ubisoft community developer UbiRazz stating that the game will only see minor changes.
“Just so you know: there won't be any major changes or additions to what you saw at E3 but there may be minor tweaks/balancing,” posted UbiRazz. “With this in mind, this thread is largely defunct.”
Earlier this week Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot said the extra development time is to be used to ensure a high quality is present throughout the entire game.
