SimCity release date announced - delayed until March

SimCity misses February target as EA announces final release date.

SimCity will release on PC and Mac on March 8, 2013, EA has announced.

The game had previously been due to launch during February. EA hasn't provided a reason for the setback.

SimCity is a contemporary update of Will Wright's classic city-building sim built on EA's new 'GlassBox' engine, which the publisher says is "the most complex simulation engine in its class".

The game also introduces 'multicity play', a new feature which "brings a new dimension" to the game, "as players’ decisions not only affect their city, but have a ripple effect across the entire SimCity World."
