Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 release date revealed by Epic
Fortnite seasons last approximately two and a half months, and the current one is no exception. Considering it began on March 8, it makes sense that it ends in late May. More specifically, Epic Games revealed that it would end on May 24, meaning that Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 will also begin on this date.
Considering that the current Fortnite season was delayed by nearly 19 hours, Epic may push Chapter 5 Season 3 to May 25, which would be Saturday. Due to this, keep an eye on the season-ending date on the Battle Pass page. Since it ends at 2 AM Eastern Time, the next season will likely begin right after, although it will have another server downtime.
Season 3 theme and Battle Pass
The theme of Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 hasn’t been revealed or leaked yet. However, there is a chance that the season will have an apocalyptic theme. Several apocalyptic-themed skins were shown in one of the latest Fortnite surveys, which is a good indicator of the content that will arrive in the future. Keep in mind that most of the current Battle Pass skins were also shown in a survey.
Since we are more than a month away from a new Fortnite season, this is just a guess. However, it won’t be surprising if we get more leaks and information next month. Nearly every season gets leaked ahead of time, so the next one should follow suit. While this hasn’t been confirmed, Epic Games will almost certainly bring a couple of new items to Fortnite with the next season. In addition to regular items, we expect a couple of Mythic weapons as well.
