RF Online beta goes live

Codemasters has announced that the beta test for the sci-fi MMO RF Online has gone live.

The beta will run for the next four weeks and will see 50,000 participants log onto the game servers, putting the game through its paces on its new network infrastructure in Boston. Those gamers who have been selected for the beta are being contacted now, but if you haven't signed up yet there is still time to register your interest before the last few places are taken.

"To get to this stage is a huge landmark for RF Online, the beta test will lead the way to the game's retail release in late February and give our fantastic community the opportunity to experience the game before it hits the shelves." David Solari, Director of Codemasters Online Gaming.
