PC gamers who don't own a PS2 or GameCube can finally experience Resident Evil 4 but it doesn't feel like the same game. It's a simple port of a console game and as such is best played on a console.

Its like tryinig to play a really hard game before your even interested. I attempted to foolishly convery the (2) and (3) instructions into some kind of working keyboard presses. At one point i selected the ammo and couldn't remember how to deselect, that cost me a game restart.
Going to try to find this mouse patch and see if the game is as good as ive been told. Not impressed with the PC version and i am ashamed that something like this has been actually sold! Buying this game is a mistake! do not do it!

can i just clear something up here. There IS a patch circulating on the net that allows PC gamers to use their mouse in game. Thats right, you can use the mouse. I have the patch and it works fine!

I've got the PC version, but it is crap! Even with all the patches, it is still impossible to use the keyboard. Capcom didn't even bother to change the images on the dialogue boxes. You get a "press 1" exactly as you get on PS2. The controls are really awful.
Overall: I don't recommend this game for PC users. It's rubbish!
