Disappointing PC version now sports improved visuals including better lighting and effects.
Despite the huge performance advantage high-end PCs offer over the GameCube, the recent PC port of Resident Evil 4 was far from spectacular in the visuals department, looking worse than the GameCube and even PS2 version.
Although running in higher res than the console versions, it was the lack of lighting and effects that really stood out. Thankfully a new patch has been released which goes a long way to addressing the problem, adding greatly improved lighting and effects. There's also a fix for a bug which crashed the game when skipping cutscenes.
You'll find patch v1.10 for European and German versions of the game over on 3D Gamers.

no mouse what a joke
I would have never bought this game if I knew there was no mouse support why the long wait it is still a console game it should of come with a controller someone owes my 20.00 bucks
