Epic Games has released a lot of new content for LEGO Fortnite over the past few weeks. The development team has added new buildings and toys, while also fixing some of the game’s most annoying bugs. The biggest update, however, was the addition of wheels and vehicles with the v29.10 update.

Since this is a permanent game mode, Epic will keep adding new content to it. According to a recent leak, you will soon be able to tame animals and keep them as companions. The latest LEGO Fortnite leak shows a new item for taming animals

The vast world of LEGO Fortnite has many creatures you will encounter throughout your gameplay session. From docile creatures like sheep to tough enemies like Brutes, you’ll have to pick your battles carefully. Soon enough, you will also be able to bring a companion on your journey! More specifically, you’ll be able to tame animals and have them follow you around.

According to iFireMonkey, Epic Games is working on so-called Animal Cookies. The primary purpose of this item is to tame animals, which can then follow you around the world. You will also be able to order those animals to stay in specific spots, and you’ll likely have to feed them as well.

The LEGO Fortnite leak shows that the only animal that currently supports taming is a boar. However, more animals will likely get taming support by the time this feature comes out.

While the release date of this upcoming feature is currently unknown, it may come out with the v29.30 update on Tuesday, April 23. This will be the third major update of the current Fortnite season, which is why we expect it to bring a lot of new content. However, Epic hasn’t confirmed this feature yet, so we’ll have to patiently wait for its release.
