Welcome to Heads-up, VideoGamer.com's weekly feature which gives you an at-a-glance run-down on the games you'll be able to buy or rent this weekend. Every Tuesday we'll pick out the best of the bunch, link to our reviews and previews and keep you in the video game loop so you have enough time to pre-order for Friday's post. Time to splash the cash.

Recommendation of the Week: Grand Theft Auto IV, Xbox 360, PS3
It's not out this Friday, but it hits stores on Tuesday, April 29 so we're including GTA 4 in this week's release round-up. If you haven't already pre-ordered a copy then you'll be lucky to get your hands on the game at launch, but we're still going to tell you why you should try.

Not only is GTA 4 shaping up to be the greatest of the GTA series, but possibly the greatest game ever. Possibly hyperbole? Sure, but some early 10/10 reviews say otherwise. If you are picking up the game next week then be sure to check out VideoGamer.com's guide to surviving the launch, offering some handy tips on how ensure your GTA 4 experience goes as smoothly as possible.

Also out this week
Wii Fit, Wii: If there's one new release that could possibly steal some of GTA 4's thunder it's Wii Fit from Nintendo. The game has already gone down a storm in Japan and if the recent success of Mario Kart Wii is anything to go buy, Wii owners certainly aren't scared about buying new titles for their console.

The £69.99 price tag might put off some, but this isn't your average game. Some probably won't even call it a game. The Wii Balance Board transforms the Wii into a tool to help Wii users improve their fitness, bringing regular physical activities into their daily routine. Much like the Brain Training games on DS have had players working their brain each day, Wii Fit promises to get the heart pumping and those muscles stretching in ways a standard game simply isn't capable of.

And the rest...
Emergency Mayhem (Wii)
Europa Universalis: Rome (PC)
Farm Vet (PC)
Fizz (DS)
Kawasaki Jet Ski (Wii)
Lineage II - The Chaotic Throne: Kamael Collectors Edition (PC)
M&M's Kart Racing (DS)
NBA Ballers (Xbox 360)
NBA Ballers (Xbox 360)
Puppy Love (Wii)
Riding Stables (DS)
SingStar Summer Party Solus (PS2)
The Aly & AJ Adventure (DS)
The Waterhorse Legend of the Deep (DS)
Undercover: Dual Motives (DS)
Urban Extreme (Wii)

If Wii Fit had unlimited stock and was priced at £50 then I reckon it could've sold out GTA 4. ;)
