New AMD driver for Rage improves performance

Update from AMD promises significant performance gains for single GPU configurations.

AMD has released a new graphics driver to fix problems associated with the PC version of FPS Rage. The driver promises increased performance for single GPU configurations and includes the latest OpenGL driver component for Rage performance optimisations.

The latest driver is compatible with AMD Radeon 6000 and AMD Radeon 5000 series cards.

"If you have an AMD/ATI graphics card, the new RAGE Catalyst drivers are out! BE SURE to grab them immediately," stated the Rage Twitter account.

Rage earned a solid 8/10 in our Rage review earlier this week.
