Following reports from Edge magazine that the PS3 version of RAGE was lagging behind versions on PC and Xbox 360, developer id Software has moved to reassure the game's fans that all versions will offer a “great” experience.

“The Edge Magazine article has caused quite a ruckus. We are committed to ensuring that gamers on all platforms have a great RAGE experience,” explained the RAGEgame Twitter.

A great experience on all platforms doesn't mean the same experience, but it sounds like id will be doing its best to ensure any differences are minor.

because of them saying at one point the 360 versions was having problems and need to be on 2 discs... then later saying the PS3 version was lagging behind the 360 version... I don't trust them. I'm going to wait for reviews and comparison videos for this game. Not preordering a damned thing. Now they are saying "the differences are minor". WTF? We'll see.... Having a "great" experience and the "same" experience are 2 totally different things...
