Quake 4 is being given a somewhat bizarre re-release on Xbox 360 and PC, Bethesda has announced.
The Raven and id Software collaboration launched back in 2005 on PC and then a bit later as part of the Xbox 360 launch line-up. The Xbox 360 version suffered from some pretty terrible frame rate issues, which are unlikely to be fixed this time around.
Bethesda has put a June 19 date and $19.99 price tag on the game in North America, but hasn't offered specifics of its re-launch in the UK and the rest of Europe.
It's not clear if the Xbox 360 re-release will include the version of Quake 2 which was part of the original release - some would argue that was the best reason for picking up the game.
