Future of the franchise unknown.
ZeniMax, parent company of id Software and Bethesda, now has control of the Prey license, according to trademark filings spotted by Superannuation.
The Prey IP moved from 3D Realms to the brand management company Radar Group back in June, before moving on to ZeniMax a few weeks later.
Radar Group announced the development of Prey 2 back in March 2008, but the current status of the project is unknown.
Despite a fairly long and troubled development, the original Prey was actually a pretty decent FPS, as you'll discover by checking out the VideoGamer.com review.
