Sequel to the atmospheric FPS to be 3D enabled.
THQ's core games VP, Danny Bilson, has confirmed to CVG that Ukraine-based 4A Games is hard at work on 2034, the follow-up to the successful survival horror, FPS hybrid, Metro 2033.
The novel on which the game is based is described as in indirect sequel to 2033, so we can assume the same is true of the game.
Speaking at E3, Bilson said the sequel will be 3D enabled.
"We're showing Metro 2033 in 3D right now, which Nvidia is showing as one of their key demo products," he said.
"We're going to be doing a 3D version of that on Metro 2034 - the sequel. And there will be some engineering costs there, but that's in our lowest cost centre in the world. Those games are unbelievably reasonable, they're built in Kiev."
Metro 2033 was a graphical showcase on both PC and Xbox 360, so we're hopeful of even better things next time out.
