Lost Planet PC demo next week

Capcom to offer PC gamers the chance to sample Lost Planet on May 15.

Having already achieved commercial success on the Xbox 360, Capcom will soon be offering an enhanced version of the game for PC gamers. Just as with the Xbox 360 version, Capcom will also be offering a PC demo prior to the release of the game.

The game will be released in June, but PC gamers will be able download a demo from May 15. New additions for the PC released include better shadows and more detailed textures, plus higher resolutions.

Lost Planet will carry the Games for Windows branding and will run under DirectX 9 on Windows XP and DirectX10 on Vista, utilising the enhanced features of Shader model 4.0 and Geometry Shader.
