Kane & Lynch movie loses its director

Simon Crane 'wasn't working out' with the movie's execs.

Former stuntman Simon Crane, who had been on-board as director of the Kane & Lynch movie, is rumoured to have "parted ways" with the project with sources suggesting the movie's execs felt he "wasn't working out".

A new name has already been thrown into the directors pot, that of South African Wayne Kramer. His previous work includes The Cooler and Crossing Over.

The film's stars, Bruce Willis and Jamie Foxx are both still attached to the project.
