Eidos Interactive has announced that Just Cause is to be released on Xbox 360, joining the previously announced PC, Xbox and PS2 versions.

In Just cause you play as an undercover agent who must overthrow a corrupt government on a tropical island. The game world is said to take the average gamer about 40 minutes to move from end to end, and with over 300 missions scattered around the island, there should be plenty to keep even the most demanding of gamers busy.

"We are proud that Just Cause will be available on Xbox 360 as well as current generation platforms. Our aim has always been to deliver a next-gen experience and with the power of Xbox 360 you are going to see something really special," said Christofer Sundberg, Founder and Creative Director of Just Cause developer Avalanche Studios.

Just Cause will be released on Xbox 360, Xbox, PlayStation 2 and PC in the autumn.
