Valve has published player stats gathered from those playing Episode One in the two-week period ending June 26.
Thanks to Steam's data gathering capabilities, Valve has been able to put together some stats regarding Half-Life 2: Episode One. The most striking is that only 25% of players actually completed the game, despite 47% of players having reached the final level. Either this is a serious case of lazy gamers or as Valve suggests, "players are quitting before they see the credits, or there is a bug in how we collect this data."
The average completion time is a smidgen over the five hour mark at 5 hours 2 minutes, and in total Steam has logged 895,620 game sessions at an average of 37 minutes a pop. You can check out the full list of stats, plus some lovely looking graphs over at Steampowered.com.

There were some interesting little nuggets of information in there. Even if you discount the 25% figure and presume its a bug only half the people have completed the game. It would be interesting to see the figures for a full length game in the 10-15 hour mark.
