Helldivers 2 is a fantastic game with an even better community. The PvE multiplayer action is incredible, and a great relationship of back-and-forth communication has been established between fans and Arrowhead. Surprisingly, the vocal community is really head over heels in love with Eagle 1, and an Eagle 1 fan art image shared by Arrowhead has Helldivers 2 fans simping.
As mentioned, the developer does a great job interacting with the community. On the game’s socials, the dev has shared an upcoming nerf that will stop players ‘dying in 2 secs,’ meanwhile, the patch notes for update 01.000.203 includes a list of known issues still looking to be fixed. The developer has also responded to an issue fans believe needs to be fixed ASAP.
Not all communication is rosy as the CEO has confirmed the game is not getting a customization feature fans desperately want, but more often than not the communication yields pleasant results. In addition to speaking with fans, Arrowhead frequently shares content from the community, and this lately includes an Eagle 1 image that has fans simping even more over their favorite pilot.
Helldivers 2 fans love Eagle 1 fan art
The official Helldivers 2 Twitter account has shared fan art of Eagle 1. This fan art was created by Twitter user SpiritDraws_S, and it looks absolutely incredible. As of April 19th, the tweet has over 52,000 likes and over 6,000 bookmarks.
In addition to the thousands of likes, there is also nearly 800 comments. Fans love Eagle 1, but, as the tweet says, ‘She’s married to Democracy, and Liberty is her boyfriend’.
A lot of the replies are very humorous in their simping. One of the replies says ‘Eagle 1 has done more for me than any girl I’ve ever met,’ and another says ‘Democracy has never looked so righteous!’. Some of the comments definitely cannot be repeated here for obvious reasons.
One of the best replies is ‘Eagle 1 can’t marry you, because an Eagle never Mrs’. One fan replied that ‘she’s married to pelican 1,’ to which the official Helldivers 2 Twitter account replied ‘Are you sure about that?’.
If you thought the simping was just reserved for Twitter, that’s not the case as it’s all over Reddit, too. There’s memes on Reddit calling her a queen, and there’s also a really funny ‘Save Us Eagle 1‘ video that needs to be watched.
Funnily enough, Eagle 1 has never been seen so how she looks is entirely up to the imagination. The reason she is so beloved without even a face is because provides massive support with an Eagle Stratagem. Rather than seeing her, the most players have anything to latch onto is a simple voice line.
