New cast members revealed for upcoming motion picture based on the Hitman video games.

Hitman is to be directed by newcomer Xavier Gens, with Luc Besson of Leon and Fifth Element fame producing. Comingsoon.net has a few more details on the film's cast.

Joining confirmed cast members Timothy Olyphant (Agent 47) and Dougray Scott are Robert Knepper of Prison Break, Olga Kurylenko, Ulrich Thomsen and Mochael Offei.

Preliminary shooting for the movie begins this week on location in Sofia, Bulgaia, and the production will then move through South Africa, Istanbul, St. Petersburg and London.

According to IMDB the movie is schedule for release over in the US on October 12.

i cant wait for the film and especialy now luc besson is on the job, and im glad it wasnt vin the cheese deisel, this could be the film to break the mold of crappy game movies,there is a good enough story and plot to play with and turn into a masterpeice.
