Hellgate: London patch today

Will fix lots of known bugs, plus enable players to use 24 character slots.

Flagship Studios has announced the imminent release of a Hellgate: London patch, promising to solve a host of know issues, implement some tweaks and increase character slots to 24.

A lot of work is said to have been done on the chat interface, the first step in Flagship's plans to overhaul the system. Players should also find the game to be much more stable once the new update is installed.

There's also an update on the nuisance that is the Invisible Party Members bug. The good news is Flagship has identified why it's happening, but this discovery was too late for a fix to be included in this patch.

The implementation of Patch 0.5 is expected to cause a few hours of serve downtime today between 16:00 and 18:00 GMT. For full patch details check out the Hellgate: London website.
