Update – June 30: Blizzard community manager Aratil took to the Hearthstone Battle.net forums yesterday to let fans know that the planned July 1 reveal of pricing for the Naxxramas expansion is no longer going to happen.
"I know everyone is really excited for any and all information regarding Naxxramas," wrote the community manager. "We're doing our best to get it into your hands as soon as possible. However, it turns out we're actually not going to be quite ready to announce Naxxramas pricing on July 1st as I previously mentioned - we do still want to announce more Naxxramas information soon, but I'm afraid it won't happen on July 1st. We'll get the details to you as soon as we have finalized information to share."
Aratil did confirm that Blizzard continues to target a July release date.
Original report: Curse of Naxxramas, A Hearthstone Adventure will launch in July, with pricing information to be confirmed next Tuesday, July 1, Blizzard has announced.
"Just wanted to give everyone a head's up that we are currently targeting to release Curse of Naxxramas during the month of July," explained a Battle.net post by the Blizzard community manager. "Unfortunately, we still have a lot of implementing and bug fixing to get through, so please stay tuned!
"With that said, we are also targeting to reveal pricing details regarding Curse of Naxxramas next week on July 1st, so please keep an eye out for that."
Curse of Naxxramas is the free-to-play card game's single-player Adventure Mode set within its own unique game board.
The ancient necropolis Naxxramas is a base of operations for the powerful lich Kel'Thuzad and his plague-bearing undead host. The expansion will roll out over the course of five weeks, opening wing by wing. The first wing of Curse of Naxxramas, The Arachnid Quarter, will be available free for all Hearthstone players, while access to the remaining four wings can be purchased with in-game gold or real money.
A simultaneous released is planned for PC, Mac and iPad.
