Free Radical's futuristic FPS to debut on PS3 in 2007 - PC and Xbox 360 versions could follow in 2008.
It's been confirmed by Ubisoft that its upcoming first-person shooter from Free Radical, Haze, will lead on the PlayStation 3, although the publisher has refused to reveal whether or not an exclusive deal has been agreed.
"Haze is leading on PS3, but no exclusivity for any platform has been officially announced,"" a spokesperson told GameSpot.
A newly released fact sheet for the game only mentions the PlayStation 3, although Steve Ellis, Director of Free Radical reveals in a Q&A that the game is in development for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
"The architectures of PS3, X360 and high-end PC's are fairly different, but they all have one thing in common - parallel processing," said Ellis. "The challenge for us has been in designing a solution that will work well across the platforms."
As it stands now, PlayStation 3 owners can look forward to Haze this autumn, but don't rule out versions for Xbox 360 and PC at some point further down the line.
