As part of a lengthy update on the current state of Halo 2 Vista, Bungie's Content Manager Frank O'Connor has revealed that attendees to the Games Convention in Leipzig, Germany, will be able to take a look at the game. Two multiplayer maps will be available and Bungie representatives will be on hand to help out gamers who have never used a keyboard and mouse before.

The update also includes information on the visual and audio upgrades being made to the game. While Frankie states that "The visual upgrades are mostly spit and polish," Vista users will see a better looking game than what was released on the Xbox a few years back. Lighting is said to be richer, bump maps give the maps a more realistic look, and textures have been improved across the board. Audiophiles are in luck as well; Frankie claims that sound is more accurately spatialized and engine pitch bends up and down depending on acceleration.

There's still no official release date for Halo 2 Vista, but it's expected to launch alongside the operating system in 2007.
