The Buzz: IGN is reporting that the next game in the Halo series will be shown in video form at Microsoft's pre-E3 conference on May 9.
The Chief could bring down the house at E3The appearance of Halo 3 is probably the biggest question of the show for the Xbox 360. Given the franchise's massive success and fan base, there is no denying the importance of the title in Microsoft's chances of knocking Sony from its perch. Information on the title has been appearing in tiny scraps, but IGN has learned that the game will be appearing on May 9, during Microsoft's pre-E3 conference.
According to an independent source who has recently spoken with Microsoft, the new Halo game will be shown in video form, lasting two minutes. Other than that, there is no further information on the game, and unless something massive happens between now and May 9, don't expect any information until the event.
Microsoft is currently refusing to confirm or deny the rumour, giving the usual "we don't comment on speculation and rumours" response. We'll keep you posted as events unravel at E3.

i pre-ordered halo 3 about may 14th and yeah.............................................. ......................... so its coming out on september 225th 2010. just kidding it comes out on september 25th 2007 which is 15 days after my b-day. in about 5 more days its gonna be 4th of july i already bought a bigillion of fireworks its gonna be culooooooooooooo. so is halo 3. and yeah well i have an xbox 360 and gears of war and xbox live and a headset and a wired controller and a wireless controller and a quick and charge kit and a 20 gb hard drive. isnt it fun reading about my life. i live in washington kingston i go to kjh and yeah.............. oh and i have a big house. and a brother and a mother and a father and a sister and im getting a dog sometime soon (never). well i just wrote this many stuff because there were only 5 comments and most of them were so short so i wanted to make 1 more comment but a long one so you would get entertained. oh and u should get an xbox 360 it kicks ass. but its hella loud and heats up so u might need to buy an intercooler which im getting. and xbox live. and a game. yeah im gonna go to college at fullsail (fullsail.com) so i can be a computer animator and make graphics for video games or movies and crap. yeah but i have a question about colleege, do you have to go to high schoool and pass then go to a university and then go to fullsail. or high school and pass and then fullsail???? cuz i dont want to go to 2 colleges but if i have to then i will!!!!!!!! im a video gamerz!!!!!! well yeah my comment was pretty entertaining wasnt it.

hmmm if its really coming out on this date then it will be super awesome because probably the best seller game will come out and it will come out on my birthday. I hope the Video is long, not just a crappy teaser
