Half-Life 2 expansion gets episodic treatment

Valve Software has revealed that Half-Life 2: Aftermath has been renamed Half-Life 2: Episode One, with more regular content promised.

Valve Software's Doug Lombardi has told GameSpot that the name change is part of a plan to release more regular content for Half-Life 2. As with Ritual Entertainment's SiN Episodes, Valve now plans to release regular episodes of content for Half-Life 2, but at this time no further information has been made available.

Half-Life 2: Aftermath, now known as Episode One, is scheduled for release in Europe on April 28.
