Reason for the delay is unknown.
NCsoft has announced that its highly anticipated Guild Wars sequel - previous titles have expanded on the first game in the franchise - will now be released in 2010-2011.
Last summer ArenaNet announced that the game would not be released in 2008 as originally planned, but did not offer an updated release date.
Last week NCsoft let go 70 to 90 workers as part of ongoing consolidation plans, but the company expects strong growth in 2009.
