Guild Wars claims 'records', 'firsts' and other gubbins

Ya gotta love press releases...

Set for release on the 28th April (i.e. this Thursday), Arena Net's first title has been awarded self-proclaimed titles such as: "one of the best-selling preorder PC games year-to-date in North America" and sells itself as: "a worldwide first for an MMO game" with regards to the simultaneous global release date. There's a bunch of other PR gubbins that could be blurted out here, along the lines of: anyone can play with anyone else, regardless of country of origin - as the wonderful press release states: "There are no sharded servers, no language-specific versions of the game and nothing to keep players from exploring the game world with friends from other countries." Sounds interesting enough.
