Spellbound the official developer of Gothic 4

Gothic 4 currently in development for PC and next-gen consoles with release date not yet announced.

JoWooD has announced that Spellbound Entertainment is the official developer of Gothic 4, the highly anticipated RPG sequel for PC and next-gen consoles.

Spellbound was chosen, amongst other factors, because of the scope of RPG experience brought in by team member Jochen Hamma, who was involved in creating the legendary Nordland Trilogy. Spellbound intends to focus on the traditional strengths of the brand and set new standards in the Gothic game series.

A release date for Gothic 4 will be announced in the coming weeks.
