The free multiplayer game F.E.A.R. Combat is out now, as is a new patch for owners of the full game.
The official F.E.A.R. website has been updated with news of the release of patch 1.07, which makes the game compatible with F.E.A.R. combat - which also happens to have been released today.
Patch 1.07 also adds three new maps, and it's worth noting that the patch may not work with digitally downloaded versions of the game - services such as Direct 2 Drive. A compatible patch is said to be on the way soon.
You can get a list of download mirrors for the patch over at the game's official website, and those of you who just want the free multiplayer game need to head over here. Once you've signed up to the mailing list you'll be sent a code to play the game. It's as simple as that.
