Ubisoft has released a new title update for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC versions of Far Cry 3, incorporating numerous new features and tweaks for the game's single and multiplayer modes.
The title update, which is available to download now, adds a new 'Master' difficulty setting to the game's the single-player campaign which becomes available to players once they've finished the campaign. Master difficulty provides "more challenging enemies and dangerous wildlife," Ubisoft says.
Players who have completed the campaign are now able to reset outposts, too, bringing the initial enemy locations back into the game world.
In addition, multiple tweaks have been made to the game's multiplayer mode, including a new idle kick feature which boots idle players from the game, and a tweaked map voting system, offering players more time to cast their vote on the next multiplayer maps.
Map creators can now also benefit from a new 'spectate feature', which allows creators to "monitor how their map is being played" and let players provide better feedback to the map's creator.
The title update is available to download now from Xbox LIVE, PlayStation Network and PC.
