SOE suspends 700 EverQuest users

Cheaters to be suspended.
Sony Online Entertainment has suspended 700 accounts in its long-running MMO EverQuest since last week.
This follows their recent announcement that the firm would begin to rid the game of cheating players.
"Remember that these suspensions are merely the first wave, and further action is on the horizon," wrote community manager Piestro on the official forums. "We will not rest, but will instead continue to gather data and take action as necessary on behalf of the entire player base. Don't cheat - it's not worth it."
Earlier in the week SOE promised it has invested in a behind-the-scenes effort to find cheating users.
EverQuest was originally released in 1999. Its 18th expansion, EverQuest: Veil of Alaris, was released in November 2011.

SOE has hired a 3rd party in TX to "inspect logs" and has now removed an estimated 4000 players, many of whom, even SOE has admitted "may have not committed any errors" and have been suspended for no reason whatsoever....there have been over 3 waves of suspensions and bans AFTER this "warning" with many players who stopped "cheating" and are still getting removed from game for "violations" that have supposedly occurred MANY months before the "warning" in game was given.
These players who have received suspensions/ banns are being given "NO REASON AT THIS TIME" why they have been punished. Sony refuses to comment on what your "violations" were.
IF you are a Everquest player, NOW is the time to GET OUT of this Poorly managed game that has been a subscription based and that now is reverting into "BUY IT NOW" button game - all over your UI screen, for options that were posted as "INCLUDED" within the recently released $40 expansion.
GET OUT NOW....SOE is ripping people off and booting innocent players in order to make EQ into a PAY PER PLAY WHILE YOU PAY A SUBSCRIPTION....its the worst player abuse that has been seen in MMORPG games to DATE...P.S. If you purchase any "STATION CASH" ,and get banned regardless of you guilt, they will NOT refund any of your money.
My 4 accounts have not been suspended or banned, but many players who i know personally have had toons removed, only too receive NO email or explanation why.
SOE is not doing this investigation, some other entity is arbitrarily telling SOE who is assumes is "cheating" and its running AMOK. STOP supporting SOE and its personal info compromising, consumer abusing practices.
