Activision has confirmed that Enemy Territory: Quake Wars has slipped from its holiday 2006 release date.
Yesterday we reported on a developer diary from Splash Damage lead game designer, Paul Wedgwood, in which he expressed concern that Enemy Territory: Quake Wars could well face a delay.
These concerns have been proven to be justified as Activision has now confirmed that the game will not make its planned 2006 release. "It has slipped from the 2006 schedule," an Activision rep told GameSpot; "the official release date now is 'When it's done.'"
Hopefully the delay won't see the game slipping too far into 2007.
