Drakensang demo now available in English

Try out the game which has taken the German video game chart by storm.

dtp entertainment has today released the first English language playable demo of its hugely successful PC RPG Drakensang: The Dark Eye.

The game brings back epic party-based RPG gameplay, based on one of the world's biggest pen & paper franchises. Experience the world of Aventuria like never before thanks to impressive 3D visuals which bring to life the epic vistas of this one-of-a-kind fantasy world.

Drakensang: The Dark Eye is the first PC adaptation of Germany's most popular and long-standing pen & paper RPG franchise in 10 years.

The demo consists of the entire first level of the retail version and features most of the weapons and armour from the full version. There have also been some additions to demonstrate features which are usually found later in the game:

- A special ability which isn't usually in the game until location 5-6
- A special weapon available in the demo which usually isn't available as such a low level
-A special magic cast ability available that also doesn't appear until much later in the game.
