High res texture pack for PC Dragon Age II needs 1024MB video memory.

A high resolution texture pack for BioWare's Dragon Age II is available for the PC version of the game. The 1GB download adds the option to enable higher detail replacements for most of the textures in the game. According to BioWare, the biggest differences will be noticed on level art.

To use the new textures you'll need a graphics card with at least 1024MB of video memory and the developer notes that most of the benefits will only be seen when running the game in DirectX 11.

Absolutely MORONIC, why couldn't better textures be released by the DEVS when it is obvious PC can handle much better ones? WOW, lazy developers FTL. How pathetic has the consolitis disease has spreadso fast.
