Gives players three weeks to create a character before the full game arrives.
BioWare has announced it will release the Dragon Age: Origins Character Creator on October 13, giving PC users the ability to pre-create their character before the game launches early in November.
"What we have managed to do is get the awesome BioWare dev dudes/dudettes to break off the Dragon Age: Origins Character Creator from the main game so you can download it as a separate application to your PC," explained BioWare community coordinator Chris Priestly. "Once you have downloaded and installed the Dragon Age: Origins Character Creator you will be able to “pre-create” characters for use in the PC version at launch."
Using the Character Creator it will be possible to experiment with the different classes, races, and create multiple faces for the six Origin stories and save for when the game is released.
Dragon Age: Origins will be released on November 6 for PC and Xbox 360. The PS3 version will hit stores later that month.
