Capcom confirms the content is not on the retail disc.
Vergil's Downfall, additional content which tells the story of Dante's twin brother Vergil, will be released as DLC for DMC Devil May Cry shortly after the game arrives in stores on January 15, Capcom has announced.
The DLC, which Capcom makes very clear isn't on the retail disc, promises hours of new gameplay, four difficulty levels and the ability to play at Vergil with an all new storyline, weapons, combos, enemies and locations.
Vergil's Downfall will be available for 720 MS points/£7.29. Capcom also mentions that there will be European pre-order initiatives featuring Vergil's Downfall – the DLC is confirmed to be part of the US pre-order incentives.
