A handheld version is on the way.

EA has confirmed that "as of right now a PC SKU is not in the plan" for Dead Space 2, the survival horror sequel from Visceral Games.

Dead Space 2 was originally announced for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC back in December 2009, but it appears the PC version has been dropped, or at best won't be appearing alongside the home console versions when they launch between January and March 2011.

However, it does appear that a handheld version is in development, with EA's third quarter financials listing a handheld SKU for the same quarter as home console editions.

As long as it's coming on the 360, I'm happy.

I will be playing Dead Space from scratch tomorrow. Even though, I have Dante's Inferno, Bioshock 2 and MAG to play through till March 5th for BC2 and then God Of War 3. I have plenty of time to get them done :)

I'm pretty pissed! Dead Space rules on Pc because of the graphics and gore, PC is much sharper and detailed. OMG EA all you guys do is fuck things up all the time >:( I won't be buying a console version, sadly I will never continue the story.

Owell back to Bioshock 2 on pc :D

It's not like there is that many PC only gamers left. Although tbh, if I was a dedicated PC gamer then I would be pretty pissed.
