Counter-Strike: Global Offensive due on August 21

Valve dates the game for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
Valve's Counter-Strike: Global Offensive has been given an August 21 release date. The downloadable game will be released on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
Valve has revealed that the game will cost approximately $15 on all platforms. The game will feature new maps, weapons, and characters, as well as updated versions of classic Counter-Strike content.

Although, did anyone play the 'cs_rat' maps...? Very much akin to the Duke Nukem shrunken stages, fighting in oversizer kitchens/bathrooms/whatnot! :p

If only cs_militia were included from the get-go... lots of memories on that map (first I ever played, and subsequent favourite at the LAN cafe some friends and I used to play at weekly...)

The achievements do indeed look meaty, but if it encourages more game time like Neon-Soldier perfectly says, then I am game for all that. Hey, I'm willing to help out on those cheevo's, as it seems they are all progressive anyway, so fun all the way through! You getting the game Clockpunk?
