Around two thirds of all EA's 2007 releases have sold over a million units worldwide.
During a conference call with investors yesterday EA revealed that an astonishing 23 out of its 37 released titles for 2007 have attained platinum status - meaning a game has sold over a million units worldwide.
Amongst the million sellers were Need for Speed ProStreet, Rock Band, The Simpsons Game, The Orange Box and The Sims 2 Castaway. Surprisingly the power hungry PC title Cryris has also reached over a million sales worldwide, despite its initial less than spectacular sales in North America.
During its first few weeks on sale in North America the game sold only 86,633 units.

Umm, DUH, NDP sales figures are useless, don't count digital distribution, and, Europe and other parts of the world PC games sell more. Bad reporting, as if some people want PC gaming to fail.
