Yesterday THQ was welcomed onto the Steam platform, bringing with it a host of its most popular franchises. Initial releases include Company of Heroes ($29.95), Titan Quest ($19.95), Titan Quest: Immortal Throne ($19.95), Full Spectrum Warrior ($9.95) and Full Spectrum Warrior: Ten Hammers ($9.95).
As an introductory offer, each of these titles is available with a 10% discount through July 24.
A host of additional titles from THQ will also be appearing on Steam in the near future, including Supreme Commander, S.T.A.L.K.E.R., Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War Gold Edition and Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War: Dark Crusade.

So games like HL-2 I dont even need to find the cd's for anymore. I just download and play with every new windows install.
It's a very good system and cost saving, if your ISP's support it.
