Speaking in an interview with about the forthcoming Command & Conquer 3 expansion Kane's Wrath, Associate Producer Jim Vesella has commented on the possibility of the RTS series heading to the PlayStation 3.

When asked if Command & Conquer 3 and its expansion would ever see a release on the PlayStation 3 Vesella said: "Right now C&C3 is sticking to the Xbox 360, but stay tuned for any future announcements!"

With EA's next big RTS, Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 heading to PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 the publisher clearly has ambitions to bring the RTS genre to the Sony console.

Of the many new additions found in Kane's Wrath for the Xbox 360, EA is most excited about the improvements made to the Xbox 360 game's radial interface control scheme. While PS3 gamers might not be able to play Kane's Wrath, feedback on this new control interface will shape the system used for Red Alert 3 on consoles.

"We're hoping to implement a similar system for Red Alert 3, and we're looking forward to getting fan feedback from Kane's Wrath," commented Vesella.

For more from EA's Jim Vesella, where he talks about using feedback from the community, new units and the brand new Global Conquest mode, head over to the complete Command & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath interview.

I'm pretty sure just throwing an Expansion Pack onto the PS3 will raise a few question marks in terms of story telling (even if it is cheesy as hell). Besides, with Red Alert 3 on the horizon, no reason for a C&C3 PS3 port. When it comes out, it will suffer the "left-overs" syndrome that many month old ports suffer on the PS3 and will sell like sh*t..
