EA has announced Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars for release on the PC in 2007.
Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars takes place in 2047. The Tiberium has infected the earth and is spreading fast. The GDI, a high-tech alliance of the world's most advanced nations, stands as the earth's defence, but Kane, the leader of The Brotherhood of NOD has other plans for Earth. Kane wants to use the Tiberium to take control of humanity and transform them into his twisted vision on the future.
"Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars combines fast-paced gameplay with new ways to tell a story in an RTS game," said Mike Verdu, Executive Producer at EA Los Angeles (EALA). "We're building a next generation Command & Conquer game that is true to the spirit of this classic franchise, but is updated with state-of-the-art visuals, added strategic depth, and gameplay innovations that will move the genre forward. I am very excited to be working on this amazing game."
"We have been waiting to reveal this game for quite some time and are thrilled to bring the series back to where it all began," said Louis Castle, VP of Creative Development at EA Los Angeles (EALA) and co-founder of Westwood Studios, creator of the Command & Conquer series. "The Tiberium universe is a personal favourite of mine, and this saga's new direction will prove to be a worthy addition to one of the most celebrated RTS franchises."
Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars is said to be a revolution in RTS gaming that rewards players for their gameplay style. Build mobile bases and customise your army by combining units to bring all new layers of strategy to the series. The game will also feature online play with native support for voice chat and clans, plus a spectator mode that will add a new sport-like element to the series.
The game is in development at EALA and will ship for PC in 2007.

Hmmm, they are going with the Tiberium universe again. To be honest, I enjoyed the Red Alert world far more - Tiberian Sun did nothing for me, whereas the Red Alerts were just excellent, RA1 in particular. Not entirely sure why, I think the technology and units were just better.
I kinda liked the new 3D perspective element in Generals, but for some reason it just didn't give have an addictive appeal for me.
This, no doubt, will be a 3D perspective game as well.

im a BIG!!! fan of the series, but there are never any cheat codes for the game. So.... my comment is if any of the makers of the game are reading this, PLEASE give the new "Command and Conquer Tiberian Wars" game cheat codes. For example, infinite health for troopes and buildings. And infinite amount of cash. If someone is not in the making of the game PLEASE inform the men and weman that are making this game, if possible.PLEASE!?!?!?!
