CoD World at War patch to include Map Pack 2

Is in testing now.

PC gamers have been patiently waiting for Patch 1.5 to be released, which amongst other things promises to improve dog spawning in MP.

They'd also been told that Treyarch was working on bringing Map Pack 2 to PC, although a release time frame wasn't offered.

It now looks like Treyarch will be killing two birds with one stone and releasing Map Pack 2 as part of Patch 1.5.

"I just wanted to give a brief update to let you know that Map Pack 2 will be included in Patch 1.5!" announced Treyarch's JD. "It’s in test right now, and is looking great – I will have more information next week."

Map Pack 2 includes:

Banzai: Battle to control the river bridge - A bright jungle map featuring a waterfall and hidden caves.

Corrosion: Face down your enemy in a shattered train yard.

Sub Pens: Wipe the monsoon rain from your eyes as you struggle over a bombed-out submarine base.

Shi No Numa (Zombie Swamp): Featuring Perk machines, the deadly new Wunderwaffe DG-2, new Achievements / Trophies… and flaming Hell Hounds!
