Modern Warfare 2 cheaters banned

2,500 players to be blocked by Steam.

Infinity Ward's Robert Bowling has confirmed that approximately 2,500 Modern Warfare 2 cheats have been banned from taking part in multiplayer matches.

"Top men are on it. In fact, the Steam ban hammer is coming down on about 2,500 confirmed #MW2 cheaters on PC today," Twittered Bowling last Friday.

It's good to see action being taken against those not playing fairly.

He had a modified/chipped 360 and he was playing an illegal version of Modern Warfare 2 (and other games tbh).
He had been doing it for well over a year, very naughty boy and got what he deserved in my view.

Someone in my office has been banned on xbox live. I told him he deserved it and he has now bought another console from Amazon.
I told him he could of got it cheeper at Gamestation.

His face was priceless :D

well on psn go to the very top of the global leader boards and you will see a lvl 1 in the #1 spot so i wonder if IW banned him/her.
