Serpent Lantern expansion out now for Champions Online

New features for players at levels 11-40.

Cryptic has announced the release of the Champions Online Serpent Lantern adventure pack, offering players at levels 11-40 the chance to experience new storylines and locations in the superhero MMO.

Serpent Lantern will take players from the skyscrapers of Millennium City to the jungles of Africa to stop the Supreme Serpent from finding the lost Serpent Lantern and uniting VIPER into one deadly purpose.

The Serpent Lantern features all new locations for you to visit, as well as new contacts and enemies to meet including:

- Fulani Okonkwo: a commander within UNTIL and is the first African woman to achieve so high a rank in the organisation

- Viperia: She is the daughter of the Serpent God

- The Supreme Serpent: The seemingly ageless leader of VIPER

- The Temple of Nama: Delve into the Temple of Nama to do battle against VIPER's fiercest villains

- Six unlock able costume pieces

- Three new perks and honors for you to earn

- Three brand-new Action Figures: Serpent Mage, Viperia and The Supreme Serpent
