Infinity Ward wants number one spot for a while and will make anyone who takes it from them really have to fight for it.
Monstrously popular online shooter Call of Duty 4 has once again claimed top spot on Xbox LIVE.
According to Xbox LIVE'S Major Nelson, CoD4 held off Microsoft's own monster hit Halo 3 based on global unique users on Microsoft's online gaming service.
AdvertisementSpeaking on website IAMfourzerotwo, Infinity Ward's Robert Bowling thanked gamers for their support and issued a warning to any game hoping to wrestle the number one spot from the modern warfare shooter, saying: "I hope we can keep that number one spot for a while and make anyone who takes it from us really have to fight for it."
Last week Infinity Ward released brand new maps for the Xbox 360 version of the game, and subsequently "brokez the internetz", such was the weight of users trying to download it.
