Missions on an unnamed Japanese Island.
According to the recently published ESRB ratings certificate for Battlefield: Bad Company 2, the imminent FPS will feature both modern-day and historical battles.
"In single-player mode, players conduct missions on an unnamed Japanese island during World War II and then move into the modern day through jungles, deserts, and snowy terrain," states the ESRB.
The wording suggest this won't be a flashback level, but instead an establishing level which leads into the modern-day setting we've seen in screens and trailers.
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is scheduled for release on March 5 for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

I've been playing the demo quite a bit since download. Simply brilliant. I enjoy Battlefield BC far more than MW. Awesome variety, destruction, vehicles and huge maps. March can't arrive soon enough.
